Currently working during my free time thru on-line, one of the wood works manufacturing company in Qatar.

After some discussion with their current factory-set up, we came-out to formulate the costing of their door products (Panel and Flush Doors). The idea is that, after we agreed some factors to be applied (wastage percentage, contingency factor, manhour and labor cost, overheads and margins/markup).

I will compute the material consumption base on each door type and sizes. Apply the necessary material costs, all the manufacturing costs and other factors to have the Cost Estimate (Quotation).

After the Quotation approval, I will prepare Final Door Schedule and Shop Drawings.

After approval of Shop Drawings, they will send me the Project Site Measurement which will be used in preparation of Production Door Schedule and Cutting List.

Another on-line work on the way (under negotiation) from one of my contacts in the Philippines!

- To prepare/search for the Family of Doors and Frames in Revit to be inserted in their high-rise building project.

The idea is that.. they will give me the passcode of the project to have an access in theirBIM system (limited for Revit Drawings only).

My work is to verify thru on-line the authentication of the available families of Doors and Frames to their corresponding manufacturing companies. If there is no authenticated family, then I have to prepare families of doors and frames to be approved by the manufacturing company they preferred, and if they approved, I will insert the families of doors and frames to come-out with the Detail Drawings and Door Schedule in Revit Program (ID Drawings) which will be distributed to their sub-contractors.
